for the occasion of the 10th anniversary re-release of their 2009 album mosaik 2014, kreidler present an expanded spatial mix: the sound installation mosaik 2014 seven speakers, premiered at italic, berlin in march/april 2019. the seven speakers project was initiated by kreidler member alex paulick with the intention of presenting music in surround sound in public settings. the 7.1-technology offers the potential for musicians to produce for the format with standard audio equipment and software, as well as the ease and affordability of creating the playback situation in accessible and temporary spaces.
