b+038-b+057 seems on first glance sober, lucid, but turns out on closer scrutiny to be rather enigmatic. the unicode-style letter-character-digit-combination describes what this animation shows: the movement from one character(esque) entity (b+038) to another (b+057) - or should we rather speak of the transformation of one slowly emerging shape into another? a letter (let's call the shape that, if only because it's described in unicode) crystallizes in the room, manifests itself on the wall without once coming to rest, the letter comes into being, transforms itself soon into another, which disappears in its turn, until out of nowhere - which is merely the absence of projected light - the first character becomes visible again, very slowly, stroke after another, the line of light not once broken... what's important in b+038-b+057 is the feeling of a language breaking into a space.
